"I started Champion For Kids because I am a World Boxing
Champion and an anointed champion for Jesus Christ who wants
to build God's character through his people. Targeted at Kids
and Adults, my message is that if a kid can get the basic
understanding of God’s favor and love they will be more
receptive to their peers, authority, parents, and teachers.
Just the simple act of getting more involved with a kid's daily
activities can make a difference.”
"I grew up with my mom and Dad. I didn't realize it then, but that was a real blessing to me. They were my mentors. I have tried to be same type mentor to daughters' Jamie Nicole Smith and Rachel
Adele Smith, both students at North Carolina Central University in Durham, N. C. I want to encourage parents to be a mentor to their kids and work extra hard to keep the family structure intact. My wife Reba, and I were married for 25 years but divorced in 2007. My parents were married for 60 years."
"I believe that the absence of fathers in the family structure has caused a serious crisis in our society today. Champion For Kids, Inc., my 501C3 nonprofit organization will partner with Pro Athletes, Pastors, Policemen, Parents, Kids, businessmen and anyone else that wishes to address this growing problem.
